Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is a nice Econoline pickup truck I purchased last year from a farmer in the high desert of California with intentions of a complete ground up restoration, however, times are hard and some plans need to be put off. This truck is reported to have a rebuilt engine about ten thousand miles back and I believe this to be true as it runs like new with power and no smoke. The body is straight with very few dings and the bed and floors are very solid and original with no replacement panels. The truck is currently registered in California and runs and drives and lights work but I would have it checked out mechanically before I drove it across country as I have very little experience driving it. There are some extra parts that go with it such as an original radio ( not working), horn ring, radio antenna, etc. Original tailgate is missing but I have sources for it and any other parts that you might need. Wheels and tires are very good with lots of miles left on them. Since I haven't driven the truck a lot there are no guarantees and the truck is being sold as is, where is. I have described the truck to the best of my ability and will answer any questions as to the best of my knowledge. Thanks and good luck! On Jul-28-10 at 18:40:14 PDT, seller added the following information: Sorry for the poor quality of these added pictures, lots of shadows this time of day. Regarding the surface rust the bed floor is very solid with no rust out as is the case with the cab floor and battery box. All the glass is in excellent condition except a small circular crack the size of a pea, approx. 6 to 8 mm. Hope this helps.
