This is a 1979 Chevrolet C30, 1 ton, dual wheel pickup truck. The owner of this truck passed away last fall and its time to move it along. The truck in general is in very good condition for its age. It had the body done and repainted along with a rebuilt engine put in about 10 years ago. The speedometer says 48824 and I assume it has flipped once.The truck has not been used much since being refurbished only to pull a horse trailer to the local fair and to get feed for horses. Probably has less than 10,000 miles on it since the redo. It has been in the barn most of the time. The engine is a 454 cubic in big block Chevy and runs good. I noticed some oil wetness around the power steering pump supply hose. also some oil wetness near the back of the engine. It currently has dual exhaust with a couple of Cherry Bomb mufflers which are some what loud and the right side pipe is loose on the exhaust manifold. The body is in very good shape with only some rust bubbling around the drivers side rear fender flare as indicated in the picture. There is an area on the driverside floor board that is rusted out. The rest of the interior cab is in good condition with the seat cover very good and the dash cover good as well. The radio does not work! The bed is in very good condition and had been coated with a brush on bed liner and it is thin and flaking off. It does have a Reese brand Gooseneck hitch mounted to the bed with an electric brake unit in the cab. The body paint is good with some paint chipping to both rear fender flares. The front headlight grillwork does have some heavy pitting in them. There is a small dent to the right front fender just behind the bumper. The tires are in very good condition with chrome wheel covers. The truck does have dual fuel tanks, the decortive front visor and the rear bed spoiler. That about as much as I know about the truck.
