1986 Chevrolet Custom Deluxe Model CD-3093 M1008 Military Truck. This truck is a U. S. National Guard Troop Carrier that was originally owned by the National Guard in Terre Haute, IN. and has been at a couple of dealer in the area for a short time. It has 38,100 oroginal low mileage. The engine is 6.2 liter diesel, might need valve cover gaskets. 4 wheel drive. 8 lug wheels, 235-85-16 tires and new spare. Automatic 3 Speed transmission. Lockout front hubs. Low geared axles 456 ratio. Power steering, power vacuum assembly. 2 batteries (big). Night black out lighting. Dual exhaust. Front brush guard. Seats are vinyl, no floor mats. Dashpad is good but a little discolored. The door jamb reads: Curb Weight 05900; Payload 02900; Gross 08800; Modle CD-30903; MFG 02186; Reg NG1VP1; CUCV & Cargo or Troop M1008. Seats in the bed for troops. Folding bed top. No canvass. No rust out places in frame, clean. Left side firewall rust hole (see picture). Top of driver door has surface rust. No rust out on door bottom. Front fender, bed cab corners, quarter panel is rust free. One spot on bed side has surface rust. See picture of what has been primed. This is a heavy duty truck.
