1986 Honda Rebel

1986 honda rebel 250cmx Vehicle Description 1986 Honda Rebel CMX 250 This bike started out a bobber when I bought it (I have over 100 pics of the restore, if requested) .. I bought it as a toy and used it to learn how to ride it, then I turned it in to a street legal bike. I polished the primary also the engine fins . Polished the forks. I have a new battery in the box, and put new wires. The bike stops good and the tires are pretty decent. The tubes hold air and the front tire has some dry rot, but I've been riding it for a year like that. It has never broken down or left me sit anywhere. The clutch seems good even though it's a 250cc. It has no problem carrying my 200lb self down the road at high speeds around 75-80 mph. I have never took it on long trips, mainly local 15- 60 min rides to the local areas. Just installed a new starter now it wont start and i dont have time to figure it so my loss is your gain. this bike would also make a great parts bike or restore project. Highest bidder gets it. The bike has a clean title. Its eligible for historic tags and does need a PA state inspection (If buyer is in PA). Also the bike has some scratches and dents in the tank from teaching people how to ride on this bike, that was on the bike before I got it. It was more of a toy than a daily driver, all though it could be a daily driver. It only cost me around $80 a year on insurance.
