1970 Dodge Charger R/T. This is a real R/T with all body stamps matching the dash and vin tags. The engine is not matching #'s nor is the transmission. It has a 1972 steel crank 440 (cast late 71) and a 71 transmission. The rear gear looks to be the original 3:23 sure-grip that works well. This car runs and drives but I really don't consider it a driver. It is a project car that needs work. It all just depends on what you are looking for. This is a cool car that has a lot of potential but it also has rust. I will start with the good points. The whole front clip is really solid and straight. Fenders and front valence are really nice. Hood is good. The doors are very clean. The deck-lid is clean and straight. All the glass is nice. The interior is pretty decent, seats, door panels, carpet etc. The engine fires right up and runs good. The trans works pretty well. The car is virtually complete. It has the skid plate k-member. The engine compartment is clean. The AC looks complete and original. The car has disc brakes and power steering from the factory.The trim is all pretty nice except for the piece along the vinyl top on the passenger side at the quarter. The bumpers are pretty straight and solid. The front grille is very nice. The lights and blinkers work. The headlight doors have to be opened manually though.The tach works. The exhaust is older but decent. Has HP exhaust manifolds. Some of the rough things about the car are as follows. The quarters and been patched and are not very good. There is rust under areas of the vinyl top. The trunk has been patched at sometime and not very well. There are some soft areas in the floors. There was a frame patch done on the drivers side behind the k-frame at some point and would probably need to be redone in the future more professionally. The dash pad has cracks. The headliner is shrunk in the corners around the rear window. Some of the dash lights and gauges don't work. There is no radio in the car. The brakes work but pull some because it has sat for a long time without being driven. The trans also leaks a bit. The tag in the drivers door was either removed or painted over. Please ask any questions before placing a bid. Don't ask me the reserve. Just bid what you think it's worth to you. This is an old car that has sat a long time and has just recently become drivable again. It has rust and it needs work. It's a great project or a ultimate charger parts car.
