Normal 0 MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 This Jeep is an occasional driver by a non-smoker. I have moved on to other toys and need to sell this one. This is an incredibly fun vehicle to drive. It has an amazingly short turning radius, so it is very easy to maneuver. I have never taken this Jeep off-roading or mudding or hill climbing, it has only been a road driven vehicle. Below is a list of options on this great Jeep; Diesel, yes it is a diesel. Jeep only offered a diesel engine option in 2005 and 2006. It is an Italian made Diesel made by VM Motori. It is a 2.8 liter, 4 cylinder TurboDiesel. It is rated at 22/27 mpg. I am averaging 22 in city driving. Have only taken it on the road for a couple of trips and was getting 24-25 mpg on the highway (not at 55).
