I have an offer from a buyer here at fort drum who is going to pay $6,000 cash. The vehicle, will be taken off the market tomarrow at 7 PM. This 2000 2.5 RS has been kept in great condition. I purchased the car after my first deployment to Iraq 2 years ago. This past year it was kept in a climate controlled storage facility. I was married last year before deploying to afghanistan and now have to prioritize. I planned on completely racing the car out and began by modifying the suspension and engine.It has 4 stage adjustable gas struts in the front and 8 stage in the rear from subaru performance tuning, Eibach pro lowering springs 1 inch lower in front and 1.2 inches rear. An STI upper strut bar up front and STI strut mounts all around. It has a K&N Short ram intake that gets cold air from the hood vents that can be capped off during winter, all new NGK iridium plugs and new wires as well as a new coil pack, alternator and battery. The Seals were all replaced before it went into storage from the head gaskets, cam seals , intake manifold gasket, Valve cover seals and plug seals , a new timing belt and new timing belt cover seal, all new head bolts and grommets. It has a BORLA Header and a full exhaust from Subaru Performance tuning. It has a stock 5 speed manual transmission, with a new OEM Dikan clutch and flywheel. all new throwout bearing and shift fork. The entire drivetrain has been reworked and guaranteed by Romano Subaru. It has no leaks whatsoever and just minor surface rust underneath. The rear diff is original but has no leaks and frequent oil changes every time the Engine oil is changed. It currently has the stock 205 55 16's on the stock 16 inch rims. The rims have been proffesionally stripped and painted black semigloss and clear coated. The interior is in mint condition and has new 2.5 RS mats. The Carbon fiber accents were installed shortly after it was purchased. Also the tail lights have been replaced with JDM Spec lights with the clear lower lense. This car has only 2 flaws There are two small rust spots that have been prepped for repair over the rear tires. It has been sealed for a year and has not come back I just never got to it. Also it will need a new catiletted converter within the next year. The car is an excellent daily driver all year round. Also it is nearly complete as an autocross or track car.
