Vehicle Detail
THIS IS A GREAT OLD JAGUAR XJ6 SEDAN THAT IS IN QUITE GOOD CONDITION AND VERY ORIGINAL. I BELIEVE IT HAS IT'S ORIGINAL FINISH, WHICH IS STILL SHINY AND QUITE GOOD FOR IT'S AGE. THE CARFAX SAYS IT IS A 2 OWNER CAR, AND HAS NEVER BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT. THE BODY IS VERY SOLID, THERE ARE REALLY NO DENTS OR RUST TO SPEAK OF. THE TRIM AND CHROME ARE ALL THERE IND QUITE GOOD TOO. THE TAN LEATHER INTERIOR IS QUITE GOOD, THE DOOR PANELS ARE REALLY GOOD, THE CARPETS ARE PRETTY GOOD, REAR SEAT IS GOOD, AND THE DASH IS FINE. THE ONLY DOWNSIDE ARE THE FRONT SEATS, MAINLY THE DRIVER'S SEAT IS WORN ON ONE SIDE AND SOME ON THE BOTTOM, AS SEEN IN THE PICTURES. THE INLINE 6 CYLINDER ENGINE RUNS VERY WELL, THE TRANSMSSION SHIFTS FINE, AND THE REAR END IS QUIET AND TIGHT. THE A/C IS COLD, IT HAS A NEWER JENSEN CD PLAYER, AND ALL THE POWER OPTIONS SEEM TO BE WORKING. IN GENERAL THE CAR IS QUITE GOOD, MUCH BETTER THAN AVERAGE, ESPECIALLY FOR THE YEAR. THE ALLOY WHEELS ARE GOOD, AND THE TIRES ARE QUITE GOOD TOO. THIS IS A GREAT RUNNING CAR THAT WILL ONLY GO UP IN VALUE FROM HERE ON IN. I AM STARTING IT LOW WITH A VERY LOW RESERVE. IT WILL BE SELLING TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER. I DON'T KNOW EXACTLY WHAT IT'S WORTH BUT I'M SURE THE BIDDERS WILL LET ME KNOW. CHECK MY FEEDBACK AND BID WITH CONFIDENCE. I DO NOT HAVE ANY ADDED FEES AT THE END OF THE AUCTION. THANKS FOR LOOKING AND GOOD LUCK BIDDING. **************** DISCLAIMER: Please do not have expectations that this is a brand new vehicle since it is new to you. It is a 25 year old car that will probably have flaws and imperfections on close inspection. If you need a new car without a flaw you will have to go to a new car dealership. Any used car may develop a problem/issue at any given time. It is probably not perfect. *****************On Jul-21-10 at 07:23:07 PDT, seller added the following information: There is one detail that I meant to include in the description and forgot until now. The headliner is thin cloth and has some splits in it here and there. It's not hanging down or anything, just looks like it shrunk and has like razor splits in it in various places, none really long. but will need to be redone to make the interior perfect. Sorry if I mislead anybody, but it was not intentional. and I don't think it's a very expensive repair to have done if you wanted to replace it at some time in the future. Thanks, Billy
