I'm selling my 1976 Comet that i had fixed up...it was wrecked 2 years ago and has been sitting in my garage..i bought it back from the insurance company and got a salvage title for it..i bought this blue 1975 Comet to get the front end parts i needed for the 76...it has a new radiator,new carpet,new front seat cover,newer rear tires,newer air shocks,newer exhaust....both cars a very solid body and frame wise...i just bought a boat and i am spending the rest of the summer on the lake..so i'm letting the comets go...i'm giving the buyer of the 76 red comet the option to take the 75 Comet for free if they have a way of getting them both home or they can just leave the 75 Comet here...the 76 still runs . i'm starting the bidding very low to sell them so i can buy toys for my boat...i'm going to miss that 76 but i'll get another one down the road...i put in some before and after the wreck pictures of the 76...good luck bidding and i hope your able to take both cars...you can call Rick at 877-223-7593 and i will get back to you...I'm not new to ebay so no BS'ers need contact me...On Jul-22-10 at 06:14:39 PDT, seller added the following information: Been getting alot of questions about guys driving it home...NO..in ohio it needs to be inspected since it has a salvage title so you can get a regular title..cant be drove legally till thats done..not sure about any other states laws..just wanted to add that the low beams need to be fixed...might be a ground they worked before...emergency brake needs worked on...your not getting a show car for this kind of money...if you dont know how to work on or have a place to work on cars i'd not bid on it...guys like me that have welders and torches and other tools like that should have no problem,...please ask me anything..not here to rip anyone off....just another thing..i was going to cut the spot welds on the engine compartment of the blue car so i could weld the engine compartment into the red car then repaint it ...i just hammered the bent engine compartment back as close as i could so the fenders and hood would bolt back up till i had more time to work on it....Frame is fine..thats the main thing.....i forgot to mention it has the 250 ci. I-6 in it. hope the extra info helps.
