I'm selling my 2000 Ford F250 4x4 Super Duty because I got a different work truck and don't need it anymore. It still looks good, runs good, and has a lot of good miles and use left in it for the next owner! It has the popular Triton 5.4 V8 and Warn brand locking hubs. I am the 2nd owner. I bought it in 2003 with about 98,000 miles on it and have used this non-smoking truck with a tool cap as my construction vehicle until now. It currently has 163,000 miles. It would make a good solid daily driver or work or farm truck. It tows trailers really well. This truck is overall pretty good shape for a 2000 work vehicle. There are a few issues and I'll try to list them as accurately as I can so you know in advance. 1) There are a number dents and dings, and the rear bumper is beat up as you have probably seen in the pictures. The biggest dent is in the passenger side rear panel. I caused this one by pinching a hay trailer when I was backing up in a tight barnyard. Then I pinched it the other way trying to get out and put a small dent in the driver's side rear. Doh! There is a small dent in the hood and another on the top of the cab from a limb that came down in a storm. There are a few other small dents here and there that I'm not sure where they came from. Probably rocks from gravel roads or something. Check the pics, I think I got them all. 2) The front left wheel makes a clicking noise when it is locked into 4wd. My mechanic tells me this is because the U-joint needs to be replaced and its about $300 or so to have it done. I actually have the part and will throw it in with the truck if you want to do it yourself. 3) The cruise control hasn't worked since Ford recalled it and supposedly fixed it.4) The driver's window sometimes gets stuck. If it is partway up you can get it going again by pulling on it, but if it is all the way up or down you might have to wait a while until before it starts working again.5) It is noisy when you first start it, but it quiets down after a minute or two. It has done this ever since I got it. My mechanic told me it is probably a small leak in the exhaust somewhere that seals itself up when it gets hot and the metal expands. He said its not really anything to worry about. 6) There is some surface rust mostly on the tool cap. The truck itself has little to no rust.
