This is a stock , except for stereo , 1980 Pontiac Esprit Yellow Bird . It has the 4.9 liter Pontiac V-8 with 2bbl carb , 350 turbo auto transmission , equipped with A/C , tilt wheel & cruise control . The 100% original interior shows some signs of ware on the front buckets velour inserts , the front carpet is tattered in the driver's floor area , common for this floorboard design . The paint is around 65% original , the decals are ALL original . This Bird has absolutely ZERO rust in it or on it , it is an Eastern washington car . The original yellow "snowflake" wheels are in excellent shape and have brand new BFG Radial T/A's on them . Very solid driver , the A/C is inop but complete , the shocks are OEM and could use replacement but that is part of the originality of this car . Appearance options included the tail fin and the " Eagle Decal" on the hood . I have done what research I could on the internet for production #'s but it seems very vague , they vary from 286 to 720 of the Yellow Bird . The miles have been exepted on the title by the state of Washington but I do truely believe them to be actual , the car shows that kind of miles for it's age and condition .
