1966 427 engine - original 425hp Corvette Coupe This Corvette has the CE code on the passenger side pad just below the head that means Customer Exchange and is a factory replacement block. Aluminum intake. M21 manual transmission. The car runs good, it has been in storage for many years, it could use a tune up and regular use, but this Corvette does run and drive. It has factory power disc brakes. The body is in good shape, the original color is Nassau Blue, it has an older paint job that looks great, if you get close up to the car it does have some imperfections on the paint. In the 70's, the previous owner wished to have bigger tires on it, so the upper wheel lips have been flared a little to fit the bigger tires on. The flares do not interfere with the inner surround or above the bonding strips on the front or rear so the body could be changed back to original very easy. The head light doors do work. All the stainless trim is in good shape, the rear bumpers are good and the factory tinted glass is in good shape. I do not have the original front bumpers. The back up lights are 1967 and the third brake lights have been added. The interior is original black vinyl, for its age its in good shape, the dash pad is in good shape. All of the gauges are in good shape and work but the tachometer because it has HEI ignition. It has its original 6500 high red line tach. It has 1967 seats. It has an original Corvette 4-Speed shifter and AM/FM radio. It also has an original Corvette steering wheel. The frame and birdcage are in good shape, its had a lot of new parts on it like a new larger front sway bar and poly bushings. The suspension was all done several years ago. This was a factory 427/425hp Corvette. This Corvette went on a long trip before it was carefully stored. It runs and drives and is ready to be a driver or put back to original again. This Corvette was always treated with care and before it was in my private collection; it was previously owned by an enthusiast; no winters or bad weather of any kind ever, I know all of the history on the car. Clear NYS title in hand.
