1996 Jeep Cherokee For Sale by Owner! No Reserve! (more pics available on request) I've had this Jeep for 2 years - my wife has used to it to commute back and forth to work. It's not a Lexus, but it is a strong little Jeep with lots of mile left in it. We're selling because I bought something with a 3rd row seat - my family just can't all fit in the Jeep at once. Most accurate description I can give you is below - toms of pics - let me know if you need anything else or any other pictures. The Goods:Famous Jeep inline 6 cyl. still strong!Automatic Transmission was rebuilt 1 year before I bought it - works perfectly shifts smoothly - no issues4-Wheel Drive is all there and works perfectly. Easy switch between 4WD High 4WD Low and 2WD - You can't get this thing stuck on purpose!I replaced the radiator about a year ago - and the Auxillary Cooling fan and the Thermostat - no issues with overheating and I live in Texas and it's July.It has a Tow Package and Reese hitch with 2" ball - I have pulled a 14' bumper pull w/ 2 horses in it and it does just fine.Tires are between 40 and 30% remainingCD/Mp3 Player - after market - works great (the original radio is under the drivers seat if someone wanted it)AC is cold and works well - Heater does tooRecent Spark Plugs, Oil, Oil Filter, and Air FilterI do maintain my vehicles myself and regularly - no missed oil changes since I've had itDoesn't burn oil a drop of oilPower Windows, Power Locks, Cruise all work as they shouldReally a mechanically strong dependable jeepI have no worries about my wife and children getting home in it - it runs great The Bads:Small dent in the rear bumper Hole in the drivers side fender flare (wife ran into the hay spear)Paint chipped and peeling in placesInterior has some stains in the carpet - No rips or anything major, average for a 14 year old family vehicle that's been on a farm.No Spare - Jack and spare cover come with the truck, but I never got a spare in it.Rear Windshield Wiper is gone - motor is there and installed and runs - just needs wiper assemblyThe headliner fell down at one time - I took it down, sprayed it with adhesive and put it back up - you can tell, but it's not dangling on your headSince the Tranny rebuild - the ignition sensor is a little out of place - so when you start it sometimes you have to put it in Neutral to get it to turnover - Starts 100% of the time though and you can think of it as a security measure.
