You are bidding on a 1969 Ford Mustang Convertible. The car is in excellent shape featuring a original 302 CI engine and an automatic transmission. The color is original candy apple red, black standard interior. It was painted about 2 years ago in Texas and while sitting around picked up a couple of minor scratches on the passenger side rear quater. The body was absulutley RUST FREE prior to being painted and was in original paint. The structure of the car is excellent, no rust period. The car has a 1970 hood and shaker assembly off of a 351 Mach 1, this is an original, no aftermarket here. Car was originally equipted with power steering, manual brakes, and air conditioning. The air and power steering were removed after engine rebuild and never re-installed. They will go with the car upon sale. A manual steering link was put in place of the slave cylinder by the previous owner. I still have all the compents and they will be sent with the car. Other original parts coming with the car are: steering wheel, intake, valve cover, carb, breather, winshield washer jug, PS pump/lines, slave cylinder, A/C compressor/ Brackets, and condenser. Car also has 1969 Mach 1 wheels and tires with good tread. Engine was professionally rebuilt about 3 years ago, have reciepts, has a mild cam, Edlebrock polished intake, 650 Holley carb, dual exhaust with H-Pipe. The standard black interior is excellent, all seats have been re-upolstered. NOS dash pad, sunpro tach and extra guage cluster. The car runs and drives great, but is still needs a couple of things. The top is new including a new folding back glass window, but it needs to be finished up, the pillar weatherstripping, ( have originals is desired), and fix the couple of small scratches on the quarter and this is a turn key show and drive car.
