Auction is for TWO Trans Ams. One 1973 Trans Am - Buckoneer Red with white interior. Car is rough, and is a project car. Has a clear title. Its a 455, 4 barrel automatic orginally. Currently has a 400 cubic inch engine with turbo 400 automatic transmission, and appears to have original drive shaft and rear end. Does not run. Front sub frame looks solid. One frame rail over axle has some rust. Still has original floor pans in the car, driver's side gas pedal area rusted through (see photos). Under passenger rear seat also rusted through. Outter frame rails good. Rear window has some small holes around frame, but can be fixed. Front radiator support will need to be repaired or replaced. Inner front wheel wells are in solid shape. Firewall appears solid. Lower parts of doors and rear quarters are rusted through in spots. The second car is a 1976 Trans Am "White". Clear title (x drag car) This is the donor car for the '73. Driver's fender is near perfect. Trunk lid is near perfect, no rust. Both doors are nice, few small spots at bottoms (nothing major). Rear three piece spoiler, old style fiberglass, in good shape. Hood is nice and straight, but has some rust through on right hand side near windshield. Front radiator support in solid shape. Solid front sub frame. Rear quarters are okay, some rust but are still usable and have good wheel houses. Still has posi rear end in car. Includes complete set of 15 in. rally wheels. Also included in package is very nice 1971 hood, no holes. 1971 Endura front bumper and bracket. Original white seats, front and rear, for 1973. Orginal 1973 gauge cluster. Hard plastic wheel spoilers, (four). Mint condition front passenger fender. There are some assorted odds and ends. Contact for more details about parts. Basically with what is offered in this package, you can have a 1973 with a pretty much rust free body, with exception of rear valance and some parts of rear quarters. The floor in the 1976 can be cut out and used to fix 73. This is a project that I have decided to let go, because of other on going projects I have and I would like this to go to someone who wants to restore a rare '73 Trans Am.
