This auction is for a 1977 Triumph Spitfire Convertible. This is a California rustfree survivor, but in need of a restoration. The engine fires up and sounds healthy, but the water pump froze up from sitting. The transmission is a manual 4 speed with overdrive. The body is overall fairly straight, paint is faded and the interior is totally shot. The soft top frame is in the car, the additional steel hard top is in fair condition, the rear window popped out because of the dried rubber. This car needs to be restored. Brakes and clutch hydraulics need attention. A battery is needed as well. You will have to trailer or truck this Spitfire away. It cannot be driven on it's own power. Please look very closely at the super size pictures to get an idea about the cars condition. The car was last registered 1995. California Residents will have to pay tax, license and registration fees. No late fees or penalties. Out of state buyers are excempt. Winning bidder has to pay within 7 days after auction end. A $200.00 PayPal deposit is required within 24 hours after auction end! I prefer to sell it for local pick up, but if you need it shipped national or international and arrange for it, I will help.
