Thats right! NUMBERS MATCHING! 1965 Chevrolet Impala Super Sport 396 4 Speed. Triple Black with bucket seats and center console. The Carburetor has already been professionally rebuilt to factory specs. The engine, transmission and 12 bolt rearend are all still there. The car spent some time in upstate NY and the sheetmetal shows it. Will need new floorpans, trunk, quarters, and fenders. The good news is that sheetmetal is relatively easy to come by whereas the matching drivetrain is not. The frame is in restorable condition with no major flaws short of the surface rust. This car comes with some additional new parts that have been collected, including: interior door panels, headliner, carpet, wheelwell trim, rear view mirrors, and door sill plates. Also comes with some used parts that will be needed including: rear fender corners, headlight bezels, visors, interior trim, battery tray, THE ORIGINAL DISTRIBUTOR, and even the jack for the spare. I do also have another intake manifold and restorable hood. This Impala comes with power steering but no power brakes. It would be easily converted to power brakes with period correct parts to make a more enjoyable driver. I believe I am the third owner on this car but thats an educated guess. This is not a forced sale, so I am looking for the right buyer that sees this project through to the result of a nice clean driveable classic. It deserves that much.
