Vehicle Detail
This is a fine example of true American Muscle! A Pro Touring 1969 Chevrolete Chevelle Malibu sport coupe. It's aggressive appearance and sound make it a real head turner. History I recently took this car on trade from a friend who owed me some money. I was told the car started as a mild grocery getter out of Beaumont, CA. It was frame up restored in 2005/2006. Much of the car was disassembled and refinished to better than new. Mechanics It is powered by a 350 small block and backed by a four speed manual transmission. I don't know if it is numbers matching. The odometer reads 50K. I couldn't tell you if it turned over. I was told the restoration and drivetrain have less than 4K miles. She runs strong and sounds even better! Paint The car was painted in 2006 and continues to show great. It has been maintained indoors since being restored. The paint is a subtle metallic blue with white rally stripes. No waves or orange peal. It has very few imperfections as it has been driven and enjoyed. It had SS emblems on the fenders that were removed. I plan to replace them before the end of auction. Overall I would rate it a 8.5+ out of 10. Interior The interior is a dark blue leather. Tastefully done. New seats, door panels, carpet, headliner, padded dash and package tray. Overall very nice without being overly done. The dash is flawless. All lights and turn signals work as they should. It is missing the original radio (an easy fix). Overall I would rate the interior a 9. Metal All doors, fenders and floors appear to be original. The panels line up great. No signs of previous accidents or prior rust repair. The hood is a Super Sport cowl induction style hood which is not original. No undercoating, not trying to hide anything. Just some solid CA sheet metal. Accessories The engine is tastefully dressed in billet valve covers, billet air intake, polished alternator, polished headers, heavy duty Griffin radiator, polished radiator cover, front sway bar, ten bolt rear end, under dash gauges, upholstered trunk, front disc brakes, slotted rotors, oversized brake booster, four speed manual floor shifter, front and rear seat belts. Four wheel air ride set up professionally installed. Everything is tucked away nicely including controls and components. High polished Boyd Coddington Junkyard Dog wheels, 18x9 up front and 20x10.5 in the rear. They have a four inch wide lip. The wheels tuck nicely and fill up the wheel wells beautifully. Terms I did not build the car. I am not a body man or mechanic. I welcome all questions and inspections. I can be contacted at (714) 234-6095. The car will be sold with a clear California title. It is being sold "as is" no warranties expressed or implied. A 10% deposit due within 48 hours and full payment within four business days. The car will not be released until all funds have cleared. Shipping is to be paid by seller. Closing This is more than the run of the mill "cosmetic restoration" she has been built to drive. This car sounds awsome and can be driven/enjoyed daily. I have a stack of receipts totaling over $4K from National Parts Depot and Original Parts Group. The air ride and custom wheels give it an aggressive look. This car draws smiles and thumbs up everywhere it goes. It is that perfect cruise night, local show style car. It can be purchased at a fraction of the price it would cost to purchase a solid car, restore and perform all the upgrades.
