1958 Volkswagen Beetle Exceptional All Original and Low Mileage This beautiful black early VW Beetle is a fanatastic find. This was originally a European Delivery to Sweden, and must have been a treasured object from the very beginning, used sparingly as the odometer shows now: That's the mileage in "Kilometers", only 28,183. That converts to only 17,512 miles since new! And yes, the paint, interior and trunk are all 100% original! It is a special treat to look at the nice original condition of all the small details on this car. The id tags, door jambs, the trunk and interior carpets and mats, pedal pads, the engine compartment, the emblems, etc. all exhibit that special look found only on low mileage, un-restored cars. The Interior and trunk are all original and show some minor wear, but both still look and even smell great! The "390" in yellow crayon on the underside of the hood was written at the factory, the "390" is the last 3 digits of the ID number. This car is like a trip down memory lane, a rare and well preserved example. The original black paint is not perfect and has some chips mostly in the front, but still shows quite nicely. The side and running board stainless trim is very straight and of course all original. Check it out: The chassis is rust free and very clean. The engine compartment is super clean and all original too. The motor starts easily with it's manual choke, sounds great and runs cool, can keep up with traffic up to 100kph, and shifts smoothly.
