Let us start by saying we have been in the Mopar business for more than 40 years and had a lot of these parts on the shelf left over from other projects and parts cars that we have parted out that probably shouldn't have been because most all the parts cars by todays standards were rebuildable cars but they gave there life admirably. That being said, we do know something about what we are doing. So we don't want to deal with NO Scammers & NO Crooks so PLEASE DON"T waste our time and yours as there are easier marks out there than us, GET THE POINT!! Just wanted to get that out of the way so we can get down to business, THANK YOU!! If you want one of these you won't be able to build one like this for what you can buy this one for, so if you want one this is the one as it basiclly has the best of all worlds. This also is NOT a show car or trailer queen as we put it together to be just a NICE muscle car type driver. This 1970 Dart Swinger started it's life as a economy 6cyl. automatic car however everybody or everything needs an update eventually. It is now a 1970 Dart Swinger 340 6-pack NON Original Factory High Performance car. First off everything was done using OEM Factory Mopar Parts as much as possible to Make it Look like it rolled out of the Factory with the High Perf parts as it is. That's Why we are selling it AS IS with NO warranty expressed or implied. Being the changes we did this is NOT an original factory car. Accept for the Vin # most people would not know this is NOT an Original Car accept for the 6-pack and maybe a couple little things. It has Power Steering, Power Brakes (10" drums) and that's it for luxury's and all the rest is Just Pure FUN!! The motor is a 1970 340 and it has been completely rebuilt ALL the way through by a MORE than qualified Top Notch engine builder here in town and they don't come any better around here that we have found in 40 years, This motor was built for a High Performance driver so it was Built to last for years and NOT over camed and only enough to make everything work together. It has a Mopar Performance Stroker kit (Balanced of course) with RARE High Perf Heads (comp. 9.5 w/202's & harden seats)! Has a 70 AAR/TA Factory Mopar Original 6-Pack setup on top that has ALL original parts including an Original Mopar 6-Pack Aircleaner. We also put Hooker Comp Headers (Heavy Duty w/1 5/8" tubes) on it and NEW dual Exhaust ALL the way back with OEM Factory Chrome Tips and Hangers. Also Factory Mopar Electronic Ignition that was wired in to look like it came from the Factory. It Also has Heavy Duty Cooling. The Transmission is a Factory Mopar 4-speed (with 70 Factory Linkage) and 8 3/4" rear end. Gears are 3.91's NON Posi. The K-frame was changed from the Original 6cyl. K-frame to a Mopar Factory 1970 V-8 K-frame with Original Sway Bar. We also replaced anything that Les Schwab Tires recommended that needed to be replaced in the front end and we took it back to them to have the front end aligned. That also included NEW Lower Control Arm Bushings that almost ALL Mopars need from time to time as they are hard on them because of any that have the Factory Torsion Bar system. The Dart came out of California and is rust free with exception of minor surface rust from scratches or nicks here and there. The original paint is aged and it has some dings here and there, a small dent in the front fender and rear bumper but nothing major for a good driver. The Rear Tail Strip is excellent and in the correct location and material, the Spoiler is a licenced repo of the Factory Mopar Spoiler with the factory brackets under the deck lid. The Hood is the original to the car and has the holes put in the Factory Mopar position to make the look complete with the Scoops. The Scoops are also licenced Factory Mopar originals to finish the car's outside look. The intereior has been Completely redone as we installed a Original Factory 4-speed hump, New Carpets, Seats were Completely redone with new Original type pattern/color Material front and back also. The Factory seat has the provisions for the headreats that came Factory on this car however we wanted the upholstery people to not put the headrests back in so they are in the trunk in a box and will go with the car if the buyer wants them as it's not hard to put them in. We also installed New Windsheild Rubbers/Seals for the Front and New Rear Window Rubbers/Seals on the rear. Motor has NOT completed it's brake in period yet and only has about 500 miles sense it was rebuilt so it still has about another 500 miles to go and needs to be driven easy after that oil change up to about 1500 miles before it's ready for normal driving!! This is a Very comfortable driving high performance A-body that anyone could drive however it will have a lot of horsepower once it has completed it's brake in period and it will be a handful so caution is advised!! We figure that 10 in a row or more with no problems is a good start and at that point you have something to lose as far as wasting our time and yours. That way we know people aren't just bidding just to be bidding someones items up and are serious about bidding to win an item that is listed here on Ebay. There are still some people that have not gotten the point yet from talking to fellow ebayers that unfortunatly screw it up for the good ones!! Thank You!! We now take Pay Pal when specified in our ad's although we are not sure yet what the limit is as far a $ amount and the charges if there are any but if you have Pay Pal and it works for us ?? on the final amount it may also work for you if it can be used on an item in this category. You will need to get in touch with us after the end of the auction to make arrangments for using Pay Pal on this item if it is possible as we specified payment methods in the auction already however this may help any buyers if it works the way we hope for everyone. As we said both new front and rear window rubbers. The trunk is clean, just some paint worn off some of the seam sealer in spots and there's no rust to worry about. The jack looks original almost new with it's parts and the mat we didn't show is also new (gray plaid). The Wing brackets are shown and are adjusted correctly unlike some cars you see that they are pulling the trunk skin down because they are either not good quality or some cheap after market $150 junk. This wing and brackets were $600 + with the original texture. Put in a couple pic's of the rear wheel area and lower quarters so you could see that area also and see how nice original it is.
