5-SPEED MANUAL/STICK-SHIFT. VERY HIGH MILES. I believe my big brother bought it new, and then he sold it to me cheap when he got his truck, which is one reason I'm selling it cheap to "pay it forward" and bless the next guy (or gal!). This car has been used to travel back and forth between Chicago and Fort McCoy, WI twice a week for the past two years (that's a minimum of 516 highway miles PER WEEK), hence the high mileage. It is still running, but needs a lot of work that I am not going to put into it because I am moving to a new duty station in another state and cannot take it with me. If I could, I would keep driving it, because although it is ugly (rust, paint, etc.), it has been very reliable for me, even through Chicago/Wisconsin winters, and the gas mileage has been great. The heat works, but the A/C does not blow cold. The front passenger side damage is the result of the only accident it's been in; a driver ran into me in January 2010 while making an illegal u-turn, and I continued to drive the car with no problem until leaving my Wisconsin job in March. The glove box does not stay closed. The trunk is dented and can be difficult to open/close at times. While the necessary body work is apparent from the photos, anything mechanical that you can imagine to have repaired/serviced should be repaired/serviced as soon as you're able. The KBB value of this vehicle in Fair condition is $1,175, hence my decision to start bidding at less than half that amount, as it needs a lot of work. Please excuse the large crowd of people in the photos... when we pulled it out of the garage to take the pics, there was a Christian youth rally at a nearby facility that was coming to an end.
