I MUST SELL MY TRIDENT TO MAKE ROOM FOR OTHER PROJECTS. YOU ARE LOOKING AT A 1972 T150, PAINTED IN COLORS CORRECT FOR 1971. I COMPLETELY RESTORED THIS MOTORCYCLE A FEW YEARS AGO, FROM THE FRAME UP. POWDERCOATED FRAME AND FITTINGS IN GLOSS BLACK. ALL BOLTS AND FITTINGS WERE CAD PLATED. NEW CWC WHEELS, AND POLISHED STAINLESS BUCHANAN SPOKES. BRAKE SHOES ARE IN GOOD SHAPE. PAINT IS BASE COAT CLEAR COAT, WITH THE DECALS CLEARCOATED. BATTERY IS GOOD, AND TOOL BOX IS CORRECT AND PRESENT. NEW DUNLOP K81 ON THE REAR, FRONT K81 COULD USE REPLACEMENT. ENGINE IS COMPLETELY STOCK, WITH A COMPLETE OVERHAUL. NEW ROD INSERTS AND MAINS. CRANKSHAFT, RODS, PISTONS WERE BALANCED DYNAMICALLY. PISTONS ARE STANDARD HEPOLITE IN NEW CONDITION. FRESH TOP END, INCLUDING NEW VALVES & BRONZE GUIDES. CARBS ARE IN FAIR SHAPE, AND WORK PROPERLY. CAMS SET WITH A DEGREE WHEEL. NEW PRIMARY CHAIN AND CHAIN WHEEL, AND THROWOUT BEARING. TRANSMISSION HAS BEEN CHANGED TO A FIVE SPEED, WITH A 20 TOOTH DRIVE SPROCKET. PIPES ARE AFTERMARKET, HOWEVER THE MUFFLERS ARE GENUINE NOS TRIUMPH. NEW SEAT COVER. SPEEDO HAS BEEN RESTORED, TACHO IS REPRO, BOTH INSTRUMENTS WORK. HEADLITE IS HALOGEN. MACHINE IS FITTED WITH A BOYER IGNITION, AND PODTRONICS REGULATOR. WIRING IS IN GREAT SHAPE. MACHINE HAS CORRECT AIR FILTER & CHAIN GUARD. AFTERMARKET HORNS ARE FITTED, AND WORK JUST FINE. THIS MOTORCYCLE WAS MY BABY, AND I USE IT ON A DAILY BASIS. I HAVE RIDDEN IT ALL OVER CALIFORNIA WITH FEW PROBLEMS. THE 22K MILES WERE ALL PUT ON IT BY ME. THE MACHINE WAS NOT ABUSED, AND HAS HAD THE OIL AND FILTER CHANGED REGULARLY. THE ENGINE LEAKS A LITTLE OIL VIA THE PRIMARY CHAIN CASE. IT DOES NOT LEAK FROM THE CYLINDER JOINTS, OR THE CYLINDER HEAD. IT STARTS VERY EASILY, AND MAKES PLENTY OF POWER. I HATE TO SEE IT GO. IT IS NOT SOME MADE OVER JUNK HEAP. THIS MOTORCYCLE COULD NOT BE DUPLICATED FOR THE ASKING PRICE. 6-27-10. TOP END OVERHAUL @ 17600 MILES, APRIL 2009. NEW BRONZE VALVE GUIDES, NEW BLACK DIAMOND VALVES, NEW MUSHROOM TYPE ADJUSTERS. GUIDES REAMED, VALVE SEATS CUT PROFESSIONALLY. NEW VALVE SEALS ON INTAKE SIDE. AUGUST 2009 @19250.
