Vehicle Detail
This is a very Rare 2+2 Pontiac Grand Prix. It was built to run against the Monte Carlo SS Aero Coupe at Nascar. There were only 1161 of these cars built in Canada and 1118 were brought into the U.S. for sale. This can be researched on several web sites. According to some researchers there are only about 800 of these cars left in running, driving condition. All of these cars were built the same with all options and the same color combination. This car started out with no rust anywhere. It was disassembled and bead blasted frame on. All dings and dents were repaired then 2k Epoxy primer was used and blocked 2 times. Dupont Base Coat Clear coat was applied using factory colors and designs. The shading around the side windows and 2 tone body colors are all factory measurements. Even the wheels were bead blasted and painted the correct factory colors. Reproduction stripes and name graphics were purchased from Phoenix Graphics and applied. The interior was removed and sent to Ron's Cut-N-Cover in Bellville, IL. The seats were re-upholstered,the headliner and sunvisors recovered, and new carpeting installed. There's new weather stripping in the door openings and trunk along with new trunk carpet too. Over $8,000.00 was spent on the restoration and the car has not been driven since. It has been in temperature controlled storage. There's alot of new parts like alternator, egr valve, shocks, belts, hoses, plugs, cap, rotor, and many other routine maintenance items. Again, the car has not been driven since restoration. Not interested in ANY kind of trades. Be sure you have your money in order before you bid. If you bid and buy, then decide not to purchase I will do whatever possible to recoupe my expenses and file negative feedback against you. NO zero feedback bids. Sorry but, I've been screwed before. There will be a 200.00 deposit required within 24 hours and full payment within 7 days. The reserve is set at half of what I have invested in the car. Everything is in great condition and this is a rare collectable car. Of course the car is not perfect. If it was I would be asking big money for it. But, it could easily be a show car. I have this car for sale in several markets and reserve the right to end this auction and sell the car at any time. Good Luck bidding and thanks for looking. On Jul-04-10 at 17:33:33 PDT, seller added the following information:NOTE TO ALL BIDDERS AND WATCHERS. this car is for sale in several other areas including Craigslist. I have received an offer with a deposit for 6000.00 If the auction here on Ebay does not meet or beat that offer by the end of the auction, I will be pulling this car and selling it to the person on Craigslist. Thanks
