Vehicle Detail
You are bidding on a 1985 Pontiac Trans Am with T Tops. 305 Engine with Tuneport. I purchased this car from a friend of mine 12 years or so ago. While I have had the car I have driven it to and from work with a round trip total of 30 miles. The car has never been driven while I have owned it in the winter. It stays in a dry and covered storage shed where it still is. I have not had the car out in 3 years. While driving it I have replaced the tires, exhaust, brakes, computer, radiator, ball joints, tie rods, alternator, water pump, starter and various other things. THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE BIDDING - The car runs and drives, however I STRONGLY recomend that you have it trailered to your destination. - The car hasnt' been driven except to get this ad going and the ad I have placed last year to try to sell it. - It is leaking transmission fluid, which is more than likely the pan gasket - The engine also has a very slight miss. Which is more than likely it's in need of a tune up as it has sat for 3 years. - It is not the ORIGINAL ENGINE. The engine was taken out of another vehicle and put into this by the person I bought the car from. I have no details as of the mileage or what the current engine came out of. - It is not the "original" paint. It is the original factory colors of this particular car make and model. - It has minor surface rust on the lower inside corner of the drivers side door. Also has minor surface rust on the plugs under the spoiler that secure down the wing. - It does not have the original radio. It has a Pioneer CD player in it. Any other questions please feel free to ask. Reason for selling my car is that I'm getting married in 2 months and I need to sell this to finish paying for the wedding. I have a reserve on this car of $1800, when I bought this car I paid $2900 for it. Since owning it for almost 12 years I've put roughly another $2500 into it. You are not purchasing a show car dirt cheap. This is a car that will need some work. PAYMENT AND SHIPPING DETAILS - Payment will be required in 7 days via Pay Pal. - You are responsible for taking posession of this car. - After the vehicle is paid for it will be up to you to determine how it is retrieved. Thanks for looking.
