up for bid we have a 1988 honda civic/mild tuner.car has 190,xxx miles with a newer 80,xxx mile 5-speed manual transmission.the motor is a 1.5 dual point programmed fuel injection 4-cylinder. MECHANICLLY-the car runs,shifts,drives and handles great,the only thing the car will eventually need is a wheel bearing ($30 dollar part) in the front drivers side,only noticeable now at higher speeds(75 mph +). INTERIOR-interior is in great shape for a car that is 32 years old,has 1 rip along the side of the passengers seat,but overall is nice and clean,heat works great,has a nice dual cd/radio,speedometer does not work. EXTERIOR-car has been repainted at some point in its life(metallic silver w/blue hood stripes),rear quarters are showing some rust,but not as bad as most 1988 vehicles (see pictures).front and doors are all in excellent condition.car does have a body kit,not sure what type.car has a rear wing with a funtional 3rd brake light.there is a crack along the bottom of the windshield that doesn't obstruct vision at all.car does have 16" american racing rims that are in nice shape that is missing 1 of the 4 center caps.tires are just ok. i've tried to give an honest description of this car,both good and bad,if you have any questions at all,don't hesitate to e-mail me and i'll anwser to the best of my knowledge.i hate to sell this fun little car,but i've recently purchased a newer civc/tuner,and i dont need 2,so im starting this auction out at $600 with no reserve,rims are worth that alone.the only thing i ask is please don't bid unless you plan on buying,or if you do bid with the intentions of buying,but decide you fell short of cash,then please at least retract your bid,i've just went through an ordeal with a bogus bidder on the motorcycle i had for sell,and it was not fun,to say the least.this is a great little car at a great starting price so have fun and happy bidding. thank youOn Jun-26-10 at 15:13:29 PDT, seller added the following information: i forgot to mention earlier that the car is lowered,also.
