Vehicle Detail

This vehicle is in truly excellent show condition. I bought this 1999 red and tan Ferrari 355 in 2007 but must sell due to medical reasons. If you are local or can make arrangements for someone on your behalf, you may call me and come to inspect the car for yourself. This 1999 Ferrari 355 GTB has the amazing F-1 transmission. This is the best of both worlds. On open roads you can use the paddle-shift or if you get stuck in traffic of are just tired - you can push a button and the car instantly becomes a fully automatic car and your hands are free. The exterior and interior of this car are in absolutely stunning condition. There is no rust or dents or scuffs of scratches. It's just an immpecable specimen cosmetically and mechanically. It has no mechanical issues at all and is ready to be enjoyed 100 percent for your summer! I bought the car from a reputable dealer - Lamborghini of Dallas in June of 2007. That August some old lady tapped the car in a parking lot. I had the police summoned because it was a hit and run. BUT... Luckily witnesses got the license because this old lady didn't stop. She probably didn't even know she hit me. But the damage is in pictures I have below. It was basically a non-event. I was just scared because it is a Ferrari. But the paint wasn't even scratched. Nonetheless I had (her insurance) pay for all damages at Ferrari of Elizabeth New Jesery. It cost about $2,000. Again, in the pictures of the quarter panel that I inlcuded below show the very, very limited damage (nothing mechanical was damaged in any way) and even from the pictures it's unnoticeable. In any case, I have all paperwork to document this event for the sticklers that want to know the car's complete history. Other than this car is perfect in every way. It's regrettable I had to create an accident report because nothing was really damaged (just a shallow dent). But again because this was a hit and run I was so stunned and furious I so strongly wanted to catch whoever was so cowardly to leave the scene. I called the police because a very sharp witness saw this happen and got the plate of that driver. It turned out to be a very old local lady living on the same street where this incident had happened. So I realize now this lady really was unaware she had hit my car. So this minor tapping in a parking lot caused an accident report of the absolute most miniscule proportion. If I was mechanically savvy and knew nothing was damaged aside from cosmetically then I may not have called the police. But I had no idea of the extent of damage and only had horrible thoughts. It did cost $2k because (SEE PICS) it's a Ferrari. But had things besides just the body been damaged - like the radiator et cetera, then I could have been out $5k or more. Hence I just called the police so I could have them catch the hit and run driver so that person's insurance would be forced to pay for everything. And that's exactly what happened and it worked out great. I have some 'before' pics right here for you to see. Additionally I have all records from the Ferrari dealer (Classic Coach) that repaired the damage. But moving along and almost 3 years later... this 355 is running perfectly, is showroom perfect, and needs nothing. This car has... No smells or odors (smells new). No. Leaks. No. Squeaks. No smoke. No rattles. No weird sounds anywhere. The paint looks 10-feet-deep and has not a scratch anywhere. The paint is all original and mint. This car never saw the rain or snow and is only driven on picturesque days. The car shifts flawlessly in Auto and F-1 paddle-manual. No loose gears. This final-year 355GTB is just an utterly-gorgeous specimen that's showroom perfect exterior is matched with a perfectly clean interior. I just cleaned it myself. This car also comes with 1. Ferrari's 355 car cover. 2. A large Ferrari Tool Set with spare light bulbs and more. 3. 10-Disc CD Player (of course it's the original Ferrari branded system) 4. All books. 5. 2 Key sets. 6. And some misc Ferrari items like their flashlight. *Maintenance: The 30k has now been done. Due next is the 45k but since there's only 20,100 miles on the car and everthing is in absolutely perfect working order - nothing is needed on this car for a long time! The car also has just again been inspected by a Ferrari mechanic in Greenwich, Connecticut and the car has zero issues. Fluids have also all been changed and topped off and the vehicle is ready to be enjoyed all summer long. The car is located 15 miles outside of New York City in Haworth, NJ 07641. Update: This car just past NJ state inspection and got the newest sticker. Everything about this car is in perfect working order. This car will be truly loved by the next owner and even the most descerning buyer will agree THIS is the perfect red/tan final-year F-1 355 Berlinetta!
