You are bidding on my 1988 Jaguar XJS Eisenhart Convertible Conversion. This XJS has also been converted to a Chevrolet Small Block 350 with Turbo 400 trans. The drivetrain is in excellent condition with a strong 350 and tight turbo 400. The car runs and drives with no accidents or suspension issues. There is a fair amount of typical Jag rust underneath. The floor pans have been replaced with 3/8 steel. There is rust under the seats as well as in the trunk. This Jag is equiped with the valuable spoke wheels. tread is good on all 4 tires and it has a 5th spoker for the spare. I have driven the car at speeds up to 60 MPH with no handling issues. I have only owned this jag for several months and planned on completeng body, undercarriage and paint myself over the summer. Unfortunately I have learned that in July I must undergo abdominal surgery and will be in no condition to complete my plans. I own another XJS coupe which is in my bay having interior and body completed as well and that one will be put on hold. I must part with one so the convertible is up for auction.
