This is my wifes ice cream car. It is a 2000 Mustang GT V8 5 speed that just turned 14K miles. I have been collecting and restoring vintage muscle cars and race cars all my life. A collector wanted one of my vintage race cars so he allowed me to pick out a car from his large private collection to trade. Since my wife loved mustangs, this had to be the one. When I asked the collector about the history, he said the original owner leased it through his compnay as his personal vehicle. He used it as his personal toy and started to customeize it.When he business started to struggle he sold the car to the collector that I bought it from. The good thing is that he keep the original equipment as he began to bolt things on. So I have the original equipment to go with the car. You will notice that he added a Saleen front air dam. He them removed the exhaust system, which I have, and installed aftermarket headers and a MagnaFlow exhaust system which makes the car sound unbelievable. He removed the originall GT wheels and placed them in plastic bags, which I have. He them placed Cobra wheels on the car. The car has GoodYear Eagle ZR 45 tires that in great shape. He then went under the hood an installed a cool air intake systems. I do have the original peices include belts and pulleys. He then went under the car and installed a Eibach Pro-Spring Kit. I have the original springs that he removed including the spring rubber. The car comes with the SCT Xcalibrator for the computer and I know that he did a nice job in tuning the car.The only thing that he did that I do not like is that he mounted a large Tach on the dash. Why, I do not know, because there is a nice large tach in the dash. The car runs great, looks great and sounds great! It is almost a new car. There is a small scratch near near the gas filler that has been touched up. I tried to get a photo of it, but you can not see it with the refection. The interior is smoke free and perfect. He tinted the rear window and I had the film removed. I have not removed the adhesive because I am a very big guy and me getting in the back seat of this car would not be easy. You cannot see the film becuase it is clear, but is still there. Ok why are selling the car? We have come to the point in our lives where we are downsizing and moving so the toys must go and the Mustang is the last one. This process has not been an easy one, but a neccesary one. I have a perfect rating on EBAY so you should have a good rating as well. I will not ship the car, but will assist with loading. I am seeling the car locally as well, so I reserve the right to end the auction early. I highly recommend that you inspect the car or have it inspected before you bid.
