I am setting my reserve very low "CHEAPER THAN A FOUR WHEELER" You are bidding on a 1982 Jeep CJ-7 4x4 with a factory in line 6 cylinder engine w/ manual trans. The jeep is running on brand spankin new 12.5L-15SL American Farmer tires that are mounted on 15x12 Mickey Thompson style wheels. These tires are for use off road only and measure about 35" tall, but I am also including a full set of (4) BFG All Terrain tires (with about 90% tread) mounted on jeep wheels for every day driving purposes. I only use the jeep around my farm and local offroad parks so I keep the agressive tread tires on it most of the time. The headlights work perfect they are very bright aftermarket projection beam lights. I recently installed (2) brand new Best Top seats. The jeep has an Optima battery and all the gauges are hooked up. Even the clock works. I cant remember if the speed-o works or not, I dont look at it much. I know that the little light for the 4x4 lights up when engaged and the temp gauge works. It has a Sony mini disc radio and a 10 disc Sony Disc changer. Both work fine but are not hooked up because I lost the cord that connects the changer to the radio. If you notice, there is no cheap "spring over" the axle lift on this jeep. That is because I wanted to have a reliable vehicle that would still retain the proper drive line angles while being able to fit a larger tire. I used shackles and spring tension to achieve the proper height. The front leafs have been reinforced to compensate for the extra weight of a winch that I had plans for but never installed. When I built this jeep, I wanted to make sure when I use the 4x4 that it wont let me down and it never has. It appears that all the Air conditioning equipment is intact but I have never messed with it to see why it doesnt work. This Jeep runs great. The 4x4 works perfectly and the black paint is still shiny. I maintain it religiously because when you live out on a farm you cant afford to have a vehicle down. The oil and filter was recently changed along with the front and rear diff fluid. Transmission and clutch work just as they should. Jeep comes with new soft bikini top and rear drop down truck stlye window on rear along with soft half doors. " All rusted areas were treated before being repaired or replaced with new steel" * A little stiffer ride than stock * Tail gate does not open * No wipers * Some turn signal bulbs may be out * Has some drips "power steering like most cj's" Just have to add some fluid every now and then. Thats about it. It's a great Jeep that starts with the first turn of the key, never overheats and seems to go anywhere. I am setting my reserve lower than any one on here with a comparable vehicle.
