The video above and the picture collage below say it all. This is simply a stunning 1997 Jaguar XK8 with a fabulous color / trim combination, terrific 20 inch wheels and very low miles (68750). The car is in daily use locally and therefore the mileage at the end of the auction will be very slightly higher. The engine runs very smoothly as you can or can't hear in the video. It can be a little noisy for about 30 seconds when first started from cold but as soon as it is revved it purrrrs. It hardly uses any oil, there are no leaks and it is ready to drive anywhere any distance.This 4.0 V8 is married to a super smooth 5 speed automatic with sport mode option as well as standard mode. The gears shift very smoothly. This car s fitted with the traction control option and also benefits from heated seats. It is garaged all year round and off the road completely in winter. It never sees the snow. The body work is very good with only one small ding on the drivers door. It can barely be seen in the photos. The interior is also in great condition with only the drivers seat showing any wear (see video). Steering wheel controls for the The Harmon Kardon premium sound system which has a 6 disc CD changer. Cruise control is also operated from the steering wheel and the heating and air conditioning work perfectly. The steering column was replaced 2 years ago and the wheels and tires have done fewer than 2000 miles. The original wheels and grille are included with the car. It does not need brakes for quite some time yet but I do have a complete set of new brake pads that will come with the car for when that day arrives.
