Up for auction is a classic 1971 Ford Mustang Mach 1. This is a great project car. I bought this car off of ebay about a year ago and have been colecting the parts to restore this wonderful car. There are still some parts that need to be found but I have a lot of them now. I hate to sell this car but I am moving across the country and one of the projects and the race car had to go. You can see the race car in my other listings. This is a no reserve auction. The car is listed localy for sale but once a bid is placed I will no longer sell it localy. I will not cancel this auction early if there is a bid. bid to win and good luck. The first five numbers of the vin are 1FO5M that breaks down as year - 1 - 1971 plant - F - Dearborn, MI. body - 05 - sportsroof, Mach 1 engine - M - 351, 4V, V8 The good with this car is that it is a very solid car with just a few rust spots by where the bottom of the windshield is. The tourque boxes and frame rails are in good condition also. the passengers side floor pan has been removed and a new one is sitting in there, it's not welded in yet just sitting there. I have a new floor pan for the drivers side as well and it will need to be installed. the trunk floor is solid and the body is in good condition. these are not all of them but here is a list of parts I have collected for this car in the past year. Also since I bought this car I have removed allmost all of the paint on the outside of the car except for the rocker panels and sprayed it with primer so it wouldnt rust. the engine compartment was sandblasted and repainted as was the drivers side fender well. This realy is a great project car that just needs someone to finish it. New floorplans, new chrome hood moulding, new steel brake lines, new master cylinder and power brake booster, new battery box, new front shocks, new ignition, door and trunk locks. drivers front seat, all the glass exept for the windshield, most of the interior trim and sun visors, rear fold down seat, fold down rear seat side panels and trap door, original sport racing side mirrors, headliner bows, door hinges, frame motor mounts. and a set of 14" magnum 500 wheels, these are the painted ones. the car also comes with a full a/c dash less heater/ac controls, small center console, a/c compresor, alternator, C4 automatic trans, and everything else you see in the pics. Again all the glass minus the windshield and all body parts are there. The bad is that there is no title to this car, I had the california DMV run a check and this car is not in the system so it is fairly easy to get a new title in California. All you have to do is take the car to the DMV and have them verify the serial number in 2 places. As for other states Im not sure how much if any trouble it is. Also this is not an original fold down seat car but some one made it into one. I have colected pieces for bothe the fold down and non fold down rear seat so you can chose what way you want it and then sell the parts from the other way. This 71 mustang was originaly a 351c car with an automatic transmission, air conditioning, stagered rear shocks, power steering, power disc brakes. If you have any questions please contact me. If you want this car shipped it is up to you to arange all the details of shipping and payment for shipping is also your responsability. I will help as far as meeting the shiping company at my house so they can load the car but thats it. The car must be paid for in full within 7 days of auuction close. A $500 non refundable deposit must be paid through paypal or with cash in person no later than 48 hours after the close of auction. If this deposit is not maid you will forfit the car and it will be relisted and negative feedback as well as a complaint with ebay will be filled. If the car is not paid for in full in 7 day you will lose your security deposit and all rights to the car, the car will be relisted and a complaint will be filed with ebay. Im sure I am for getting something so please ask as many questions as you want but please dont wait till the last hour of the auction to ask questions because I may not be around to answer them.
