For Sale: 1965 Ford Mustang 289 automatic convertible. All matching numbers, champagne beige, C code. Very solid and original. I am the second owner and purchased the Mustang in 1998. Has been garaged for the last 12 years. Professionally complete rebuilt engine with less than 500 miles; runs extremely well. I have replaced the complete exhaust system with original specs, drum brakes, water pump, fuel pump, carberator rebuilt, wires, points, plugs, battery and tires. Original instrument panel, glass, steering wheel, seat belts, console and radio. Power top, lights, blinkers all work. Needs a new heater fan, fuel guage indicator, radio antenna, and rear plastic window. Has spinner hubcaps plus have original hubcaps. Numerous new parts included: front left fender, rear plastic window, front chrome bumper, etc. This is a solid daily driver with no bondo, solid floor pans and can be easily further restored. I believe the original owner replaced the vinyl upholstery, vinyl top and gas tank. Car is located in Triangle, Virginia (zip code: 22172) and is available for inspection before auction end.
