1953 chevrolet suburban carryall 1/2 ton. Has been sitting under a car port in the CA desert for 20+ years until a few months ago. The '53 suburban has rear clam shell (station wagon) style doors. This suburban is complete with all of its original parts. The body is very solid with only one very small spot of rust on the passenger front floor board (see picture), the driver left rear fender also has a dent which is fixable (see picture). The body and body panels are also in very solid shape. The clam shell rear doors are complete with all hardware and are in great working condition as well as the rear tail light. It has all the glass and the glass looks to be in good shape. It has all 4 S.S. window handles for sliding rear glass as well as all 4 window locks. All inside/outside window frames are solid with no rust. Has all 3 rows of original seats, all seat frames are solid with no rust. All the cushions/springs are in good condition as well. The upholstery is worn and needs to be redone. It has all the inside door and rear metal trim frames for cardboard panels. Rear floor area is in great shape (original floor cover) no peeling or cracks. Color is brown and looks great. Dash is complete with radio. It has a 235 engine which I have not tried to start in anyway. I do not know if the engine is good or not. Trans is a 4 speed. I have a clean CA title. This vehicle is being sold AS IS NO WARRANTY.
