MGB Convertible with Over Drive - Rare Classic, 1 previous owner - adult owned - Rare Dealer Installed Air Conditoning - Blows cold air through face vents in dash The body is in very good conditon, a few small rust blemishes begining to appear near the side molding trim.The paintwork and decals are in very good conditon. Some paint scratched in the trunk, normal wear and tear for a 31 year old car. This car is garaged kept. Your chance to own a classic british sports car - I rescued this MGB off a dealers lot in Philadelphia last September, I have a copy of the original title signed over to me, this MGB had only one previous owner. I got temporary plates in Philly, filled the tank, checked the oil and drove the car home to NYC. I planned to fully restore it, but circumstance have ocurred and unfortunately, I must sell the vehicle - reliable daily driver, enjoy motoring with the top down this summer. I have owned several MGB's before and this a very unique and collectable vehicle. A very rare to find, dealer installed option is Air Conditioning - The AC blows cold air through the dash mounted cockpit vents and a two additonal vents are installed left and right of the dash. A dash mounted temperature knob controls how cold and a fan switch has 3 speeds and off. A separate dash mounted fan switch (2 speed) runs the heating fan. AC looks factory installed The car starts up on the first or second turn, and is a good daily driver, reliable and economical and fun to drive, it always turns heads when I take it out for a spin. The vehicle is very good mechanically, runs great, as I mentioned this car is unrestored.. Parts for this car are very easy to obtain from Moss motors or several other vendors. I was out for a ride with the top down today, turned a lot of heads, got many a thumbs up - the exhaust has a really sweet sound to it. T This MGB already has the most popular parts for reliability and performance already installed: Weber DGV Down Draft carb, Pacesetter 3-1 short header manifold Peco free flow exhaust, Pertronix Flame Thrower Distributor & Electronic Ignition And all of the factory accesories, even the original owners manual is still with the car OVERDRIVE Luggage Rack Complete with 1/2 and Full Tonneau Covers. both in very good condition Almost New top - EXCELLENT CONDITON Carpets excellent, Like new All electrical systems working NO RADIO Jack & Lug wrench in original storage bag Part recently replaced or Serviced: New battery New Radiator & temperature Sensor New Fan New front disc calipers & pads New rear Wheel slave cylinder New rear rear brake shoes Tune Up, Oil Change & Filter New Interior Panels New Side View Mirrors New Wiper Blades and Arms New Oil Seal & Gasket for timing cover New rear crank seal New gaskets - oil pan, valve cover, & side cover New fuel guage sending unit * have receipts and service records for above work done since I purchased the vehicle What you should know about this MGB: Runs great - starts on first or second turn, good reliable daily driver The AC Compressor works and the fan blows and all of the hoses and fitting are in very good condition. The Freon needs to be replaced with the enviormental friendly R134a Freon - any garage or service station can do this. The tires are all the same size, but continentals on the rear, and dunlop on the front. You may want to bounce for new set of tires, but you would that with 31 year old vehicle, as new tires compounds are so nice and sticky.
