We bought this truck in late 2006 with 53734 miles. Now it has 127488 miles on it and we recently purchased a new truck. We are selling this Isuzu AS IS on a NO RESERVE AUCTION. HIGH BIDDER WINS. This truck has served us very well over the years and will make someone a great delivery van once fixed up, or a great parts vehicle. Even the scrap value should fetch a fair price- We just need it gone. We are prepared to accept the final bid of this auction no matter what the outcome. PLEASE NOTE: This 2001 Isuzu NEEDS WORK. WHAT DOES WORK: Engine starts and runs strong and smooth. never have had a lick of trouble. turbo works fine. Gets great mileage for a big truck. Transmission and overdrive seem to work fine- the check trans light has been on since we bought it over 60k ago with no prob. Engine Brake works fine. Starts fine in the winter months Radio works Tires are very good shape Box is in good shape Lift Gate works fine Body is overall good- see pics lights, basic electronics seem fine. Drivetrain and suspension work fine. CLEAR TITLE IN HAND WHAT NEEDS WORK: Steering Box seems to be frozen. Power steering pump we are pretty sure is dead. Brakes work, but are spongy spongy spongy- system seems to be losing fluid. A/C is inoperable- there never has been a belt on the compressor that I know of. batteries are pretty dead from sitting Many lines and hoses under the cab are rusted from winter salt etc. windshield is cracked Frame and body have some rust in different locations- none in vital areas though that I saw. Key lock on rear door is tricky to open (but not impossible) Side door lock key broke off. Side door gets tight to open half way up. DUE TO THE CONDITION OF THE STEERING (AND POSSIBLY BRAKES) THIS VEHICLE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO BE DRIVEN OFF OUR LOT AND WILL NEED TO BE TOWED TO ITS NEW HOME.
