Selling for a friend 1978 Chevy 1/2 ton pickup. He bought it to use as a work/shop truck but his buisness is suffering so it has to go. This truck is super solid as he has had any and all rust issues fixed by a pro. Just a couple of small areas that are common on these trucks. Behind the RR wheelwell opening. The biggest part of rust was the floorboards and have been replaced with floors from a donor truck so all of the bad metal was cut out and fresh metal welded back in. Truck has a 350/350 trans and motor combo and runs excellent no smoke at all. Speedo shows 89,000 miles but I have no way of knowing if this is accurate. This has a brand new seat and a plastic dash cover over the original dash pad ( looks pretty good ). This also has a plastic bed liner. The bed had some rust issues as well with the bigger of the issues fixed ( still a few small holes about the size of a dime ) but with the bed liner he didn't get to crazy on spending a bunch of money on the repairs. The radio is not hooked up and there are no speakers behind the speaker grills. The speedo does not work but every thing is there so it might get fixed before the listing ends. Also there is no key for the door locks ( he lost them ) Tires are O.K. This truck runs great and drives very nice. Straight and true no wobbles and the brakes are just fine as well. After the body work was done this was painted in black epoxy primer so if you like the satin black look than here you go. If not just block it out one more time and put whatever color you want on it. This was an original AC truck but somebody removed the compressor and the lines. All of the remaining parts of the system are still there. Also this has a brand new alternator and interstate battery.
