Vehicle Detail

NO RESERVE! Custom restoration of a street/ strip car I bought the car in Sep 1991 in Pensacola, FL. 455 big block Olds bored .030 over with prepared G heads. The car spent all its life in Alabama/ Gulf Coast and has never seen snow, the body is immaculate. Centerline AutoDrag wheels with 295 50s in the rear and 205 60s up front. Car painted Blue-Black Sapphire (PPG). I purchased all parts from Joe Mondello and Summit Racing. Edge Bros Machine Shop in Jacksonville NC refurbished, rebuilt and balanced the short block. Three-angle valve job, back-cut stainless valves and new guides. Harland Sharp Aluminum roller rockers on the heads. The block features windage tray, 10.25:1 forged pistons, Mondello crank, steel rods and an Engle JM 20-22 cam. The induction system is an Edelbrock Performer manifold and a Holley mechanical 750. A GM HEI with an MSD 6AL box produces ignition. The AC and heat had to be cut out to make room for the engine. The transmission is a BOP TH350 with a 2200-2800 stall 11" Turbo Action Convertor. The rear end is a Ford 9" with 3.00:1 gears and a Chassis Works Ladder Bar setup. The exhaust system is a custom Hooker SuperComp system with mandrel bent 3" aluminum pipe. The interior has a custom cut stainless dash cut for Auto-Meter gauges. Somebody stole the dash - so I have another cut and in the trunk so the interior picture shows the dash that was stolen....need to get your own gauges. Car needs a new headliner, windows re-tinted and a good tune-up (vac modulator on trans and re-timed). I got transfered to California and need to sell it. Car has less than 300 miles on the restoration and I need to sell it. I have over $17,000 in receipts in the trunk. My loss is your gain - needs somebody to pay attention to it. VERY fast and a real head-turner.
