1978 PORSCHE RED VETTE Up for bid is a very nice 1978 Chevy Corvette L-48 350V8 Numbers Matching engine with 4-speed close ratio manual transmission. Very rare only 3385 produced with manual tranny that shifts great and smooth. Engine has about 16k since rebuilt, very powerful and can easily do a burnout. Very torquey. It has a mild cam, new rods, lifters, new edelbrock intake, new carburator, new plugs and wires, chrome edelbrock valve covers and chrome air filter, chrome dipstick, chrome brake master cylinder cover, new distributor, etc. Engine was overbored and definitely puts out a lot of Horses! It has exhaust manifold, and has dual 3" aluminized exhaust all the way out that gives out a deep throaty rumble. Paint is very nice hot sexy porsche red. It has a deep and wet shine. Really nice and definitely a headturner! Lots of thumbs up! Interior is in good condition, front carpet is newer, door panels are in good shape, passenger seat has one small hole, driver side is good, glass is all good, one small chip in the windshield, it is equipped with rear defroster, AM/FM/CD player, sport mirrors, manual glass, theres a crack in the E-brake lever that can be seen in the pics. It has corvette aluminum wheels with Goodyear Eagle GT II with 85% thread all the way around with rised white letters. Like all vettes, it is equipped with 4-wheel disc brakes.
