I'm selling a 1975 MG Midget 2 door convertible. It's orange with black interior, the interior is in good condition. It belonged to my father in law but he sadly recently passed away and we have decided to sell it. It has 31,450 miles on it. It was restored 10 years ago. It has an all air polution intake, brake cylinder, clutch cylinder, tonneau cover, currently it has a black cover but we also have a white cover as well. It sat in my father in laws garage so it was never registered. There is also no radio or speakers. This car does indeed run fine, it starts right up. It also weighs about 2150 lbs. My husband and I have also noticed some extra MG parts in his garage that will go with the car as well. There is a chrome bumper, two radio consoles, turn signals, tail lights, and I'm sure there's more parts. The odometer reads 31,450 miles however I'm not sure if that's the correct mileage. But we did want to let the bidders know this. There are also a few scratches in the paint. We are also having a hard time opening the trunk but there may be a certain way to open it. Also, to open the hood, we got it open but my husbands says that the hood pop isn't quite right. On Jun-09-10 at 18:06:53 PDT, seller added the following information: We wanted to add that the battery in the car is brand new we just put it in. It starts right up with the turn of the key. The brakes feel as though they may need to be replaced as well. A short ride may not be bad but I wouldn't drive the car a long distance without the brakes being checked.
