1972 Mercury Cougar Convertible, 351-4V CJ engine, the sought after Q code motor (Cobra Jet), 57,000 Miles, 2nd owner. 1st owner was in family. Maroon paint, Dark Red leather interior, Original white top with glass rear window, AM/FM stereo radio, A/C, Tilt Steering, C6 Auto Transmission. Car is mostly original with the exception of the wheels and tires, the exhaust and the radiator. The drivers front fender has been painted on the top surface due to a cooler falling off a shelf and hitting it. The remainder of the paint is original. There are small areas of rust in the rear 1/4 panel behind both of the rear tires. This was caused by the trunk plugs not being removed. There are a few small hail dents on the trunk lid. This has to be one of the nicest unrestored, unmolested 1972 Mercury Cougar XR7's around. Combine that with the "Q" code Cobra Jet engine and you have a highly sought after Cougar.
