Vehicle Detail

NO RESERVE!!! This car will sell to the highest bidder Outstanding original condition with low miles. 67,493 Original miles and no damage history, no rust everything original and only adult owned. I am the second owner of this beautiful Porsche 911. The original owner purchased it new from Merlin Olson Porsche Audi in Encino, California in September of 1977. I have all of the original service records, manuals, brochures and keys. The original owner had the engine rebuilt by Paul Weir just 7000 miles ago because he did not like the usual Porsche drip in his garage. I purchased the car from him in 2005 and have had it in heated storage since. I recently had it professionally repainted in the original color which Porsche called Burgandy Metallic but it looks more like copper to me. The paint work is excellent and it shows. I keep a battery tender on the vehicle and start it monthly. As I have mentioned I keep my vehicles in a heated, climate controlled building which assures the best enviroment to avoid the hardships vehicles experience when improperly stored. This car is in outstanding condition which the photos demonstrate even the map pockets are in order on the door panels which is very rare so I will note the only short comings I know of on the car. The seam has come undone on the inboard side of the driver's seat, (see photo), the tires are servicable with good tread but they are older. Both the engine hood and trunk hood don't stay open on their own they will likely require an adjustment. The radio/cassette works great but again it is old. There is a crack in the lens of the passenger side fog light lens. Everything else works as it should. The 1977 911 was the last year for the classic body style before they flared the fenders and the first year they painted the mirrors. If you want a clean, original, true sports car in excellent condition then this Porsche 911 is the vehicle for you to own! The new owner will be proud to drive this daily if they so chose. I will endeavor to answer questions that are intelligent in a timely manner. I will ignore questions that are already answered in the aforementioned If you just need someone to talk about Porsches, I am not your guy. I have no idea what shipping costs are for the vehicle so I am not able to address that question. Please only bid if you intend to pay. The starting price is low and there is no reserve. Good Bidding. On Jun-03-10 at 16:52:05 PDT, seller added the following information: NO RESERVE!!! There is a crack in the lens of the passenger side fog light lens. An astute bidder noticed the center right vent was missing, I didn't when I took the photos. The paint shop owner admitted they cracked it and put it in the glove-box, its in one piece but does have a crack in it. Everything else works as it should.
