Vehicle Detail

Timothy Dula bought his wife, Atha this beautiful Cutlass Supreme Brougham for Valentine’s Day in 1987 from Bush Pontiac, Olds, GMC in Lenior, NC. Atha took loving care of her gift until her passing in 2006. Her daughter Debra received the Olds from the estate with 47417 original miles. She sold the car to an enthusiast in March of 2008 with 47782 original miles. This gentleman from Dallas never titled the car and I purchased it from him in late 2009 with 48880 original miles. This 1987 Cutlass Supreme Brougham currently has just over 50,000 true, totally documented miles and is completely original. The documentation includes the original invoice and window sticker and every state inspection, service, and oil change ever done on this vehicle. White Exterior with Cordovan ‘Thick Summit Knit Velour’ Interior, this Cutlass Brougham was ordered with optional Super Stock Chrome Wheels, 5 Liter 4 Barrel V8, 4 Seasons AC, Power Windows, Power Door Locks, 6 Way Power Seats, Passenger Side Reclining Seat, Tilt Wheel, Cruise Control, Delco ETR AM/FM with Seek/Scan and Auto Reverse Cassette with Power Antenna, Pulse Wiper System, Color Coordinated Side Mirrors, and Soft Ray Tented Glass. Total price out the door on Valentine’s Day 1987 was $14677. This Olds is totally original and is in near perfect condition. Work that has been completed on the car since its purchase from Atha’s estate include a new radiator, hoses, belts, an AC charge and some new tires. The interior is perfect with the exception of some cracks in the steering wheel. There is absolutely no wear on this interior and it is spotless. The engine bay is very clean and has not been restored; it was just well cared for. The chassis; you guessed it; very clean with no rust or corrosion of any kind. The exterior of the car looks as good as the pictures you see. The original paint is not perfect but it would be ashamed to paint a car that has the original paint and looks this good. There are some hairline cracks on the back bumper cover and small flaw in the paint on the trunk. They are minor and do not show in the pictures, even when I tried close ups. Overall, this car is a 9.5 out of 10 and I am critical on how I rate a car. If you want a very nice piece of GM history for an entry level collector price, this is the car for you. Everything works, this car needs nothing. If you need to drive it across the country to get it home, no problem. I would drive this Cutlass anywhere and enjoy the trip. Send me your questions and bid with confidence, this is a great car.On Jun-01-10 at 09:18:14 PDT, seller added the following information: The Olds does have a clear Texas title in my name. On Jun-04-10 at 10:25:18 PDT, seller added the following information: I appreciate all the interest in the Olds. With over 50 watchers it is time to let you decide the price. The reserve has been lowered so that all new bids will meet the reserve. Please contact me if you have any questions on the Cutlass and good luck.
