LET ME ACURATELY TRY TO DESCRIBE THIS 1998 JEEP WRANGLER WITHOUT MAKING IT SOUND WORSE THAN WHAT IT REALLY IS BECAUSE I AM AN HONEST SELLER. 1ST THING I WANT TO SAY IS THIS IS A VERY GOOD RUNNING AND DRIVING WRANGLER. THE ENGINE RUNS GREAT AND THE TRANSMISSION AND CLUTCH WORK EXCELLENT AND SMOOTHLY. THE CHROME FRONT AND REAR BUMPERS AS YOU CAN SEE HAVE SEEN BETTER DAYS AND ARE STARTING TO ROT BUT NEW AFTERMARKET BUMPERS ARE CHEAP IF YOUR PICKY ABOUT IT. BECAUSE THIS IS A CHEAP JEEP I CANNOT LIST EVERY NICK, SCRATCH, SCUFF,CHIP,OR DING I SEE SO ITS ALL GENERALIZED. OK LETS START WITH THE FRAME. THE FRAME IS VERY,VERY SOLID WITH NO ROT THAT I CAN SEE. WHAT YOU ARE SEEING IN THE PICTURES I TOOK OF THE FRAME IS SOME TYPICAL MINOR SURFACE SCALE THAT SOMEONE BEFORE ME JUST TOOK A SPRAY CAN AND STARTED SPRAYING IN SOME PLACES THINKNING THEY WERE MAING IT LOOK NICER ON THE EYES SO IF YOU SEE ANY RUST BUILD UP ITS ONLY THE LIGHT MINOR SURFACE SCALE THAT SOMEONE DIDNT BOTHER TO SCRAPE AWAY. THE FRAME IS SOLID. THE BODY HAS NO DENTS AND ONLY 1 SPOT OF RUST ON THE TOP LEFT FENDER THE SIZE OF A NICKLE. THERE ARE PLENTY OF SCRATCHES ESPECIALY A FEW DEEP ONES ON THE PASSENGER DOOR. BEING THE COLOR BLACK ALL THE NICKS,CHIPS,SCRATCHES SHOW UP MORE. THE INTERIOR HAS SEAT COVERS WHICH I DIDNT FEEL LIKE REMOVING THEM FOR THE PICTURES. I WAS TOLD BY THE PREVIOUSE OWNER THAT THE FRONT SEATS ARE FINE BUT THE BACK SEAT IS RIPPED AGAIN I DID NOT LOOK TO CONFIRM THIS. THE RUGS DO HAVE SOME STAINS BUT THE INTERIOR CAN BE SHAMPOOED AND CLEANED UP TO LOOK MUCH BETTER. THE SOFT TOP IS FRAYED, WEATHERED AND WORN BUT ALL THERE BUT A BRAND NEW ONE IS ONLY $250 ON EBAY. THERE IS 1 GREAT TIRES AND 3 LOUSEY ONES. THE SPARE LOOKS GREAT. OVERALL IT IS A FUN SUMMER TOOL AROUND VEHICLE. I DO NOT SPECIFICLY KNOW WHAT IT MAY OR MAY NOT NEED IN REPAIRS AS FAR AS BALL JOINTS ETC SO FIGURE IT NEEDS SOME STUFF LIKE THAT AND IF IT DOESNT THAEN YOUR AHEAD THAT MUCH MORE.
