It is with regret that I am selling my 2003 F250 XLT Extra Cab 7.3 Powerstroke Diesel 4x2 automatic. Most of you looking at this already know that the 7.3 is THE engine to have, and this was the last year it was available, alongside the 6.0 Powerstrokes. And if you are looking at those, you better do your research first! The only reason I am selling is that I absolutely must have a dually to tow my new RV. I have had this truck for about 4 years now and have taken great care of it. I never thought I would sell it and no expense was spared in maintaining it. When I got the truck it was someone's Texas cowboy Cadillac and probably didn't see much real work. It had 94k miles when I bought it and I have kept a detailed maintenance record since then. I change the oil every 3-5k miles. It has a nearly new set of Michelin XPS Traction tires with steel belted SIDEWALLS ($1000 wholesale). Lots of other maintenance, I have the records available for review. This truck has never left me stranded! Most of the time if you buy a 7 year old truck, it looks, feels, drives and smells like a 7 year old truck. The truck has about 134k now but looking at it and driving it, you would think it was 34k, no joke. You will feel like you purchased a much newer truck. It has been babied! The exterior paint is very shiny with very few scratches or dings. The interior is extra clean, smells and looks almost new. The AC is ice cold, the heat is hot, the factory CD cassette stereo kicks butt, all the windows and locks work, keyless entry, cruise works, all the lights work. This truck runs very strong, drives and shifts very smoothly, needs nothing and is ready for whatever. Thr ride is very solid with no squeaks, creaks or rattles. The engine starts easily (come to think of it the batteries are about 8 months old) amd accelerates smoothly with no excessive blow-by, noise or smoke. Has a factory tow package. The bed has had a liner in it since new and the truck has never had a fifth wheel or goose neck installed. Any flaws, you ask? There is a small ding on the hood that you can't really see in the pics. There are some scratches on the tailgate that can be seen in the photos. There is a small rub mark on the front bumper caused by a grill guard that is no longer on the truck. A couple of other minor dings and scratches here and there but nothing that detracts from the overall beauty of this truck. Interior-wise, it looks nearly new. The only noticeable thing is some small holes in the headliner, which are pictured. Mechanically, the truck needs nothing that I am aware of, except for maybe a front end alignment as I noticed some slight cupping when I rotated the tires a few hundred miles ago. One other note: the truck will come with a Prodigy brake controller, not the P3 pictured. As I said this is an exceptional truck, I will not be giving it away. It is priced around NADA average trade in value, and the truck is far from average. This is a great value and you could spend twice as much and not have a better truck.
