Vehicle Detail
This Alfetta Sport Sedan is basically a 31 year old 2000cc Alfa Romeo Milano Platinum! Daily driver for me for a year and a half now. This car includes some slight upgrades modifications, and restorations. Otherwise the car is kept as original as possible and garaged most of its time here in the Golden State. HERE IS A LINK TO A YOU TUBE VIDEO I MADE FOR A VIRTUAL TEST DRIVE.. VIDEO TAKEN 5/27/10!! Same day listed on EBAY! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AA6P867E0xU REGISTERED IN MY NAME UNTIL FEBURARY 2011! PASSES CALIFORNIA EMMISSIONS! I have reciepts. Starts up first crank easy! Engine runs like new. Just hit the 31 year old mark and drives better than ever because it was upgraded with 1988 Alfa Romeo Milano Platinum Automatic transmission with only about 60K miles on it. This transmission is geared better for highway and breaks as if the car was light as a feather. Sometimes it takes a short half-pump on the pedal for pressure. (Calipers and Rotors are re-done all around). Since the upgrades, I also had to upgrade to Milano wheels (5 lug 5x98mm instead of the original 4x98mm lug pattern.) Minor problem: The front passenger door will not open or lock from the outside but opens and locks fine inside. Rear left door locks, but is also funny about getting it opened from the outside. Driver's door is hard to get unlocked if you push the handle in first. This car was mainly garaged. Regularly waxed and polished. Only touched by experienced professional Alfa Romeo specialists. Check out the interior (above left) with grey leather with brown wood trim. Steering wheel was re-stained and glazed and is a full-tilt steering wheel! The moonroof is a unique sliding-latch moon-roof (SEE BOTTOM RIGHT) Very simple, quick and will never leak or fail! Front seats are original but ripped under the seat covers which I am including.(BOTTOM LEFT) The origianal rear seat is replaced with the leather/suade platinum milano back seat with vinyl inserts stitched behind the seats where the sun fried the previous leather. Pictured Above, both mine as well as my girlfriend's black Alfa Romeos... Just so you know, I have always grown up with the love and knowledge of Alfas, passed on from my father, I have surrounded myself, my girlfriend and friends with the Alfa fever, and have other good friends within the Alfa community. The 2.0l engine has SPICA mechanical fuel injection system which is very reliable and works great for this car. This car is very clean. INSIDE AND OUT, TOP TO BOTTOM! BELOW: There is also a 5 speaker sound system Clarion Mp3 stereo with a Kicker Solo Baric 12" subwoofer mounted in the rear deck hidden by the speaker fabric on the rear. 760watt side-mounted pioneer amplifier in the trunk out of the way. This car sounds like a concert! In addition to the already great sounding engine and exhaust. The whole rear deck and most of the trunk is dynamatted for sound deadining. ALSO INCLUDES FULL SIZE MATCHING BENZONI SPARE! Also a historical and rare model. Last year for Alfettas. Alfa Romeo's transitional model into their 75th anniversary car the Alfa 75 or in US, the Alfa Romeo Milano. I am also told that this was the first year Alfa Romeo made Black cars. Notice in these photos: Matching wood trim (Top LEFT) and wood ball shifter, all screws are stainless steel. (Bottom Left) notice rear deck has been reupholstered in speaker fabric with Chrome ALFETTA insignia. Also Bottom Right, notice the latching moon-roof. It has between 95k and 100k miles original. It had 92k when the transmission was swapped out about 5 months ago. With the new transmission the speedometer cable was cut. The newer transmission uses electric speedometer sensor, so it was not compatible. There are no leaks at all! Everything is clean on the car inside out, top to bottom. (Top Right)Check out the adjustable "Vitaloni Turbo" mirrors with panoramic view and blue "All Weather" tint. (Bottom Left) Also notice the Koni Adjustible shocks on the rear. The last photo below shows the catalytic converter with new exhaust from the cat back to the ANSA-type muffler. SEE ORIGINAL EMMISSION CONTROL TAG (Below Left). (Below Right) Keys, with Spare, Clear Title with current registration. BODY IS STREIGHT! NO ACCIDENTS. Perfect except for minor blemishes in paint and some bubbling in the middle of the windshield wipers. There are many other things we could discuss about the car, any more questions, call 818-749-9327 OR TO SEE HISTORY AND MORE PREVIOUS YEARS PICTURES OF THIS CAR: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3230540 Shipping varies of course, but it is easy if you are not very close to California, just find a car-carrier/car-shipping company of your choice, should only cost about $300 to ship from coast to coast, but this car will take you across the country with no problems if you want to fly out and drive it home!
