This 1972 International Scout II 4x4 is currently registered and titled in the State of Connecticut. The truck is a daily driver and has current license plates, 2010 registration and emission/safety sticker. It is a 4x4 model with a 345 V-8 gasoline engine and has a 4L Neutral 2H 4H transfer case with an automatic transmission. The body is straight and the truck runs and drives well - Four wheel drive works well and the truck was used as my primary car this past winter. The truck has 46K miles (not turned over) and I am the second owner. Holley carburetor recently rebuilt. Rebuilt alternator. New radiator. New exhaust, mufflers and dual tail pipes. New dual batteries. Recently converted the a/c to R134 and it was recharged and blows cold. New water pump. New rear and front wheel cylinders. Four new tires - 235/75R15 Venture AT with less then 3,000 miles (chrome hubcaps in great shape). Fuel tank recently removed and boiled out and relined - hoses replaced. I have all the bills for back up. This Scout is about as close to unmolested as you can get. The paint is original and in good shape for an almost 40 year old car. Entire interior is untouched and in good shape - including original working am radio and lap seat belts. All knobs are original and both windows roll up/down easily. All glass is good. Bench seat has original upolstry and is in decent shape. Sun visors and rear view mirror also in excellent shape. All emblems are in place and chrome is in good shape. The original line setting ticket is attached under the hood (see picture) and will give you all the details of what the truck came with when originally sold. All interior lights work. Windsheild wipers and fluid work, hazards, turns signals, high/low beams, horn and all gauges work - gas, speedo, oil temp, etc. All locks are in working condition. Truck does have some of the typical scout rust which can be seen in pictures and a few small dents also visible in pictures. Would be a great truck to restore to show or museum quality or drive around just as is. Either way it's a real head turner. The truck is also for sale on the street.
