Up for bid is a 1998 Dodge Ram 1500 Laramie SLT 4x4 "shorty". The truck is in overall good physical condition with a couple of small dings here and there along with some rust on the rear bumper.The interior is clean although the cushion in the drivers seat is worn. The drivetrain has issues. The engine has a ticking sound on start up and has an intermittent hesitation while driving.Oil pressure drops to 0 at a stop in gear on the dash gauges after a bit of driving although a Snap On oil pressure guage shows a pressure of 20 psi when stopped in gear with a hot engine. I suspect this is a candidate for an engine replacement. There is also a whine that seems like maybe torque converter according to my mechanic that gets much quieter with the overdrive switched off. The 4x4 works fine. I was driving this right up until last weekend when I picked up a different truck.Truck is located in Bridgewater MA.
