Folks, we'll start by saying, I am not a Honda guy. This is my hoodlum brothers car, which has been left in the woods behind Mom's house for the last two years. Recently, my brother said "just get rid of it". So, here we are! I'm gonna call the car not running, though I have not tried. The car did drive itself to it's current position, about two years ago, and it had come about 50 miles to do so. As to it's operating history prior to that, I'm unsure. My brother is notoriously difficult to get a hold of, so, I questioned him with everything I could think of about this thing, in preparation of selling it to you! First, I do have a signed clear title. No problems there. Here is the list of what my brother says about this thing: Engine: 1.6 liter Japanese spec, from a 1996 Del Sol, less than 60,000 miles on the motor. Trans: 5 speed manual from a 1992 Civic/Del Sol Intake is original 1990 CRX, with a K&N air filter Aftermarket catalytic converter Pro-speed Exhaust Lowered (not chopped) springs, 2 3/4 front and 2 1/4 rear Front stabilizer bar relatively new clutch Does not have a fancy stereo (appears to be a junky old tape deck) Standard steel wheels most of the interior panels are gone (removed) door panels and dash are intact windshield is cracked I do know he had an accident on the Washington Beltway (I-495) a few years back, after questioning him on it, he said the car was not professionally looked at afterwards, he did replace the hood, and says it can be a pain to open (I did not try), I did notice the drivers door does touch the front left fender when you open it, but only just. He also said it does leak water, from an unknown location. Folks, when I looked over this thing, it is full of trash and junk and stuff, including a large fresh looking black snake skin!!! This will be local pickup only, and anyone wishing to come see it first has but to ask!!! We're only an hour west of the Washington-Baltimore areas. There are lots of spare parts, though, the buyer will have to help me go through my mom's garage and my own shed to find everything honda related, and, if a family member can manage to intercept my brother in Fairfax, VA somewhere, he says he has a few more boxes of spare parts with him, though I won't promise that..... On May-20-10 at 21:03:27 PDT, seller added the following information: Due to popular demand, more pictures have been added!!! Also, this time I opened the hood, true to my brothers word, it was a pain, I had to bang on it to get it to release. In appearance, the hood seems to me to line up just fine, and the latch mechanism seemed just rusty, I felt that was the problem there. Also, after pulling the sticker bushes away, I noticed the right front fender is dented, and the right front marker light is mostly smashed.
