I just recently purchased this car on eBay. It was running great! Great on fuel; ran great; transmission in great shape; everything looked good. Then, just yesterday morning, a 4 year old boy climbed in the passenger seat and put the car in neutral. The car rolled down the driveway and stopped abruptly on a telephone pole. Everything in it was in good working order. I just changed the oil and it had new glow plugs and the transmission had been checked and everything was in great condition. I was getting ready to convert this car to run on vegetable oil. The 4 year old changed all those plans yesterday and so I am offering the car back to everyone on eBay. Here you are... at least $10,000 in parts if you have the patience to take it apart and sell them. There are two more of these cars (the 190D model from the mid 80's) still running in my small town, and thousands more still driving across America. This was a great automobile for the short time I owned it. The title is in my name. It will obviously have to be trailered or towed. The steering still works fine and the rear axle and tires are somehow not impeded, so the car is ready to be moved from its location in Forsyth, Missouri.
