1981 Chevrolet C-10 Shortbed 4x4 - This is a very nice Classic Chevy Truck! Truck is in great overall condition and very clean inside and out. On a 1-10 scale I would say paint is a solid 8, only because of a couple very small chips. Chrome and glass are in excellent condition. Interior is in good condition with no rips or tears. This vehicle very recently passed a state safety inspection. It qualifies for antique or historic plates, so if you go this route you'd normally get yourself a one-time inspection and never have to worry about it again. The professionally built motor has less than 1,000 miles on it. It's a 350 bored .30 over with a mild cam, aluminum heads, 4.56 gears, dual exhaust and produces an estimated 450HP. Over $7k in motor alone. It fires right up like a champ, sounds awesome, and runs perfectly as it should. It has a 4-speed transmission. It has a professionally installed suspension lift, nice wheels, and sits on some fairly large tires (40's). It does great on the highway, even with the low gears. It does not whine at all. The 4-wheel drive works great, even though this truck has not seen bad weather or been offroad. I'm quite sure it can handle a bit of mud, or anything else you throw at it. The truck has a bedliner, and bedrails. It has a tow package, and tow hooks. This is a great truck inside and out. Check out the photos, and feel free to ask questions or make an offer! I decided to re-list the truck because the bidding nearly hit my reserve last time around, and because a few people were trying to get their money together. I'll take $8,500 for the truck, a great deal for this 4x4. The auction I just ran for this ended at $7,300, without hitting the reserve. I get unsolicited offers to buy the truck every time I've taken it out. Most have been around $7,500, and I've declined them all. That should say something about how the truck looks. It's every bit as nice as it looks, and then some. I dropped the Buy it Now price $1,100 already. It was worth the price at $9,600. Please keep this in mind when making an offer, I didn't list the truck to waste my time or yours. I'm beginning to think I should just park it off-road somewhere on the weekend with a for sale sign in the window........
